PRESS STATEMENT TO ALL MEDIA HOUSES 23RD JULY, 2024.
RE: BEWARE OF FALSE TEACHERS AND MESSIAHS
The attention of the COUNCIL OF ROYALS, (THE COUNCIL) the advisory body to the PHILADELPHIA MOVEMENT and its Revered Founder and Head, STEPHEN ADOM KYEI-DUAH (THE VOICE OF GOD AND THE 8TH GENERATIONAL PROPHET) has been drawn to a press Statement issued by the CHRISTIAN COUNCIL AND THE CHRISTIAN ECUMENICAL BODIES IN GHANA dated July 11, 2024 and signed by a certain Rev. Dr. Cyril G.K Fayose for and on behalf of Ecumenical Bodies. The Council, acting for itself and on behalf of STEPHEN ADOM KYEI-DUAH (THE PROPHET OF GOD) and indeed, the entire membership of the movement worldwide considers it necessary to respond to the statement through the same medium it was issued. The response is as follows:
The text of the press statement indicates a clear misconception of the statement the Prophet of God made about the staurogram in particular and his teachings in general. Nowhere has the Prophet of God said expressly or even impliedly that he is the Jesus Ghanaians seek in Ghana or the World at large as contained in the statement. Had the proponents of the statement taken their time to listen and follow the teachings of the Prophet and not been swayed by mischief, doctrinal subterfuge and sheer envy, they would have realized that the Prophet of God has ceaselessly preached Christ, admonished Philadelphians to seek Christ and live their lives to please the only begotten son of God. His statement about the Staurogram was only prophetic. It is one’s choice to believe or reject it.
The reference to the statements of the Prophet of God as Anti-Christ, thereby imputing him to be the antichrist is even more condemnable, ill-motivated and baseless. WHO ARE THE CHRISTIAN COUNCIL AND THE CHRISTIAN ECUMENICAL BODIES TO JUDGE? Let us all read Mathew 7:1—5. “Do not judge or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be used to measure you Why do you look at the peck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother ‘let me take the peck out of your eye’ when all the time there is a plank in your eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the peck from your brother’s eye.” We wish to bring to the notice of the proponent of the statement and those who think like them that in several sermons, the Prophet of God has devoted sufficient time to teach about the antichrist and all Philadelphians and well- meaning Christians know who the antichrist is.
Article 21 of the national Constitution has clearly provided for freedom to practice any religion and to manifest such practice. The Christian Council and the Christian Ecumenical Bodies in Ghana will be expected to respect the rights of Philadelphians and will not entertain any interference in the cloak of warning Ghanaians of the dangers of misleading theologies.
The statement admonishing the Prophet of God to repent and work out his own salvation was judgmental and if there is any body of persons in need of such admonishing, it is the Christian Council and the Christian Ecumenical Bodies themselves. It does not need salvation to observe that Christianity in Ghana is sick and the body of Christ has been made to suffer humiliation and chagrin. If the Christian Council and the Christian Ecumenical Bodies have any moral energies left, they must be channeled to address the following:
Allegations of pastors engaged in sexual immorality including sleeping with wives and daughters of their congregants.
Bathing people’s wives and washing their private parts all in the name of deliverance
Exploitation of the already impoverished congregants in the name of collections, tithes, countless harvests and seed sowing which mostly end up lining the pockets of pastors, bishops and apostles.
Illicit and unwarranted witchcraft accusation leading to torture and manhandling of innocent victims mostly old women,
Teachings and sermons that bring fear, hatred and disunity in families and communities
The use of pulpits and alters for profanity, jokes and comedies to ridicule the body of Christ etc.
The use of pulpits and alters for profanity, jokes and comedies to ridicule the body of Christ etc.
We wish to debunk the statement that sensational events or miracles do not necessarily authenticate a person as chosen from God. For your information, STEPHEN ADOM KYEI-DUAH is not an ordinary person as you think, he is indeed a Prophet of the Most High God that is “ADOM NYAME” (The Gracious God) We shall direct you to John 14:12-14 which reads as follows “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” This statement of Jesus Christ clearly demonstrates and / or distinguishes those who believe in him from those who do not. We wish to state emphatically that miracles, signs and wonders follow a Christian who truly believes in Jesus Christ as in the case of STEPHEN ADOM KYEI-DUAH (THE PROPHET OF GOD).
The Prophet of God cannot be intimidated. For he knows the one who sent him. In the name of ADOM NYAME, he shall continue to do his numerous charity works; the crusade against witchcraft accusation shall continue as it has always been his mantra, that he is on this earth to demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost and further to DESTROY ALL ANCIENT SATANIC STRONGHOLDS. The case in point is the GAMBAGA witch camp which is no more by the grace of ADOM NYAME, through his prophet STEPHEN ADOM KYEI-DUAH; He shall continue to bring healing to the afflicted; He shall feed the famished; He shall continue to give financial support to the needy in society; The poor will experience prosperity; He shall instill confidence in those who listen to him, to believe in themselves and trust in the Lord; Philadelphia shall continue to grow larger and larger; He shall take over Christianity, finish his mission, and in the end, the name of ADOM NYAME shall be praised.
We take this opportunity to encourage the Prophet of God to keep up the good work. Christ himself suffered a similar fate (Matthew 27:20). He has the unwavering support of Philadelphians worldwide.
We also urge all Philadelphians all over the world to remain steadfast, stay focused and keep the fire of Philadelphia movement burning. PHILADELPHIA! ……………….. ADEHYE KRONKRON!
