On the 31st of December 2023, which The Voice of God themed as the 31st ALL DAY SERVICE in Kumasi, Kenyasi Adwumam Teacher Nkwanta, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) donated a generous amount of Gh¢ 200,000.00 to support the launch of a campaign dubbed, “HEAL KOMFO ANOKYE PROJECT”. This project, under the auspices of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu Il is an initiative to raise funds of $10 million (ten million US dollars) geared towards the renovation of the 70-year-old Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

Speaking briefly during the presentation, Hon. Francis Addai-Nimoh said, ‘the core values of Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the voice of God), the Council of Royals and the Philadelphia Movement are Justice, Mercy and Honesty which is why they have decided to contribute their quota towards the prosecution of a project as honourable as this whose rippling effects will trickle down to the entire Ghanaian populace’.

The donation was received by the Management of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), led by the Chief Executive Officer, Professor Dr. Otchere Addai Mensah. Receiving the cash on behalf of KATH, Professor Dr. Otchere Addai-Mensah said, the Board and Management are grateful for the generous gesture by the voice of God, the Council of Royals and the Philadelphia Movement. He continued to say that the facility receives referrals from 12 regions of the country on a daily basis. He also stressed on the low maintenance culture of the facility over the years.

Professor Addai added that the board and management of the hospital are optimistic as the Asantehene spearheads this Heal Komfo Anokye initiative for KATH to blossom in order to respond to emergencies, take on more cases, as well as provide a conducive environment for patients and staff alike. He appreciated the donation and called forth blessings upon Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) for his generosity.
