Directed by their unwavering faith and strong belief in God, the Ghana Deaf Rugby Team showed up at the home of dumbfounding testimonies(Believers Worship Centre); a problem solving center to be precised, founded by Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) on Sunday, 21st of July, 2024 live on Second Chance TV.
A couple of months ago, on the 9th day of June, 2024, the Ghana National Amputee Football Team(Black Challenge) wowed the whole world with their outstanding victory from the 2024 Amputee Football Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) as a testament to the favour they sought from Adom Nyame before embarking on their international competition in Cairo, Egypt. In the same vein, a delegation from the Ghana Deaf Rugby Team with the membership of ; Mr. Yaw Konadu(President of the Girls Rugby Team accross Africa), Yaw Tetteh( from Obuasi), and Awudu Francis (from Kumasi) were also inspired by the great win from the camp of the Ghana National Amputee Football Team, therefore, they moved with unwavering faith into the spiritually charged auditorium of Believers Worship Centre to seek the favour of Adom Nyame (The Gracious God) as a major preparation towards the Deaf Rugby Game competition in South Africa between Ghana, Zimbabwe, England, Australia, and Japan which officially kick start in the month ahead from 3rd of August, 2024 with a full conviction that they will certainly bring the championship to their country Ghana and channel all the glory and honour to The Gracious God (Adom Nyame).
According to the advocator of the team in his tell-all speech, he emphasized that, with the integration of education and civilization, people with special needs are no longer bamboozled with unrealistic stigmatisation like it used to be in the past. Elaborating more in his speech, the team’s proponent highlighted that; the extraordinary feature that stimulated their interest was the professional Brother chosen by Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) to interpret his teachings to our dear brothers with speaking and hearing impairment. According to them, nothing of that sort goes on in their individual churches, and for that reason, their are much appreciative of Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) for his thoughtfulness.
The Spokesperson, stated that Bawku Naba had discussion with Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the Voice of God), concerning the conflicts on his land which needs to be resolved. Over the years, Government and the Security Agencies in the country have tried their possible means to resolve the conflicts but to no avail and so he pleaded with Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the Voice of God) to intercede in pray for Adom Nyame to heal the land for the conflict to cease. Adom Nyame who answers prayers has answered us which the conflict is diminishing. The Spokesperson proclaimed.
“First and foremost, we give thanks to the Almighty God for granting us such a beautiful day to proclaim his goodness. Again, we say a big thank you to all the members of Believers Worship Centre especially the nonpareil leader of all time; Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) for the warm reception. In a nutshell, we were thrilled after witnessing the victory of our colleagues from the Ghana National Amputee Football Team (Black Challenge ). We followed keenly from when they came to pour their hearts out before Adom Nyame ahead of their tournament. And how they joyfully returned to dedicate and showcase their triumph to the whole world in the auditorium of Believers Worship Centre as an honour and acknowledgement to Adom Nyame who was the source of their victory. We are all activists in the world of disability fighting relentlessly to break all barriers that hinders us to exhibit our innate potentials and achieve our dreams. Therefore, emerging from the same boat, if the God of Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) did not fail our brothers from The Ghana National Amputee Football Team, we also trust that our testimony will be no different.
