The Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Image Broadcasting Ltd of which Royal Television Ghana is embraced, Mr. Amankwa Agyeman and the management, came to render an apology to Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) about an unfortunate incident when a host on Royal Television disrespected and calumniated Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) during an ongoing program in the studio of Royal Television Ghana.
A quote in the Holy Bible says “A Prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God), on Wednesday 26th June, 2024, during Healing and Deliverance Service in Kumasi, sent a strong warning to Royal Tv Crew for disrespecting him on a program hosted on their TV station (Royal Television). According to Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God), he aired his first tv program on Royal Tv and so why should a former station he worked with that even introduced him to Television Broadcasting disrespect him like that. This is callous, he said!
Penitently on Sunday, 30th June, 2024, the management of Royal Television Ghana, led by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Amankwa Agyeman and his workers used the opportunity to come and apologize to Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) about the recalcitrant attitude from a host who spoke ill about the Voice of God. Mr. Amankwa Agyeman, stood on behalf of the media house to plead for mercy from Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God), the Council of Royals and entire Philadelphia Royals to ceasefire. He continued that he accepts every word from the Council of Royals and as the CEO of the company, he will see to it that somesuch will not happen again.
However, a member of the Council of Royals, Lawyer Kwame Boateng sought permission from Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) to address the public. He started by quoting an article from Ghana’s 1992 Constitution: Article 21 (1) All persons shall have the right to- (a) freedom of speech and expression, which shall include freedom of the press and other media. He pursued that it is an offence to defame someone on a media platform and so if they have rendered an apology, such lackadaisical attitude should not happen anymore.
He divulged that the Council had prepared to summons the media house (Royal TV Ghana). On behalf of the Station, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God), a man of peace, pleaded the Council of Royals that they are one people and he recalls what the CEO of the Media house had done for him. Therefore, the Council of Royals should temper justice with mercy.
