The Ghana National Amputee Football Team (Black Challenge) presents the trophy won from the 2024 Amputee Football Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) to Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God).
On Sunday 12th of May, 2024, The Ghana National Amputee Football Team (Black Challenge), visited the headquarters of Believers Worship Centre in Kumasi, Kenyasi Adwumam Teacher Nkwanta to seek favor from Adom Nyame to help the team emerge as winners as they geared up for the upcoming 2024 Amputee Football African Cup of Nations (AAFCON), which took place in Cairo, Egypt.
Adom Nyame miraculously aided Black Challenge in emerging as champions of the 2024 Amputee Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) after beating Morocco 2-1 in the grand finale in Egypt.
Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God), sent a delegation led by some members of the Council of Royals and Brothers to welcome the team (Black Challenge) in a grand style and accommodated them at Anita Hotel in Kumasi to cool off from their slog. On Sunday, 9th of June, 2024, during church service at the headquarters of Believers Worship Centre at Kenyasi Adwumam, Teacher Nkwanta in Kumasi, the Black Challenge proudly came to express their profound gratitude to Adom Nyame and His servant, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) for crowning the team winner of the tournament.
According to Mr. Emmanuel Akpagbli, an Advocator of the team, he said, the team holds AAFCON title two consecutive times, flaunting their exceptional talents and determination. The win also serves as a way to clinch a slot for the imminent Amputee Football World Cup, scheduled for 2026.
Mr. Emmanuel Akpagbli said, most of the players are professionals who play in the diaspora like Turkey, Italy, Germany, U.S.A. He added that the Best Player for the rounded off AAFCON tournament is Mohamed Mubarak, he is an European best, who plays his professional football in Turkey.
Stephen Richard Obeng is the head coach who led the team to the tournament in Cairo, Egypt. The Advocator of the team continued that on behalf of the team and the management, he presents the Ball used to play the final match with the autographs of all the officials, customised Jersey bearing the name of the Voice of God (STEPHEN ADOM KYEI-DUAH), Citation and the Trophy to Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) to show their appreciation. The team, in collaboration with the congregants, ebulliently praised Adom Nyame and thanked Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God).
The Black Challenge’s Captain, Richard Arthur Opentil, on behalf of the team, presented the National Trophy to The Queen Mother of the Philadelphia Movement, Nanahemaa Owoahene Owoabrempong Ahwenepa Nkasa Adom Akyei-Duah I. However, Nanahemaa Owoahene Woabrempong Ahwenepa Nkasa Adom Akyei-Duah I handed over the Trophy to Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God). In the history of Ghana, no church has received a national Trophy from the Officials of a national team, except Philadelphia Movement, says the Skipper of the team.
The Advocator of the team, Mr. Emmanuel Akpagbli presented the Citation to the Voice of God through Barima Fredua Agyemang Ababio, chief of Kenyasi. The head coach Stephen Richard Obeng presented the Ball to the Voice of God and lastly Mohamed Mubarak presented the Jersey.
The Voice of God accepted the gifts and thanked the Team and Management for the acknowledgment. He vowed to support the team at all times, and offered them with Two hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh¢200,000.00) as a token for the win. He promised to gift The Ghana National Amputee Football Team (Black Challenge) a brand new bus to convey them wherever they journey to.
The Philadelphia Royals led by Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God), celebrated the win of The Black Challenge, proud of the team’s ability to defend their title.
