On Thursday, 25th May, 2023, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the Voice of God) together with his Brothers and Council of Royals in the Philadelphia Movement, visited the Gambaga Witches Camp which serves as a refuge to women who have been accused to be witches in the surrounded communities. A segregated Community within Gambaga township in the North-East Region, the Camp was established by Gambarrana Yahaya Wuni to accommodate alleged witches who are banished from their communities.

Gambarana Yahaya Wuni, Paramount Chief of Gambaga, welcomed the Voice of God and his Brothers to his Palace and thanked him for the love he keeps showing to the old women every month through his representative. He stated that no man of God in his era of rulership has ever performed such godly duties. “This is the first time I have seen a man of God exhibiting love to these purported witches” Gambarana Yahaya Wuni proclaimed.

However, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the Voice of God) thanked Gambarana Yahaya Wuni and his elders and blessed their land for accepting the old women. The Voice of God continued that there are a lot of Prophets and Pastors in the country but none of them performed the duties of God except Gambarana Yahaya Wuni and his denizens for accommodating the innocent men and women who have been accused falsely and encouraged them to continue the good work.

Mr. Sampson Larh, the caregiver of the alleged Witches Camp narrated the traumas the women have been through, and humiliations he has been faced to rescue the purported witches, he felt repugnant of quitting his assignment because his natives called him names. According to Mr. Sampson Larh “Women who are accused of witchcraft do not only suffer physical torture but also psychological distress besides, many of them are unable to forget the torments from their families. Mr. Sampson Larh ended his statement by alluding some challenges they face at the Camp to Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah the Voice of God.

Subsequently, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the Voice of God) asked the Caregiver, the number of women who reside in the camp and they were 94 in number. The Voice of God had lunch with them, and gave each woman GHS 1,000 to cater for their craft making. He also gave money to roof 35 mud structures which serve as shelters to the women. He therefore promised to buy them a brand new pickup to convey anyone who may fall sick at the camp to the hospital. Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the Voice of God) concluded by changing the name of the Caregiver of the alleged witches and the name of the Camp synchronously. Now, the camp serves as the Movement Centre for Gambaga Philadelphia Royals and the Caregiver, Mr. Sampson Larh has been ordained by Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah to cater for the affairs of the Movement in Gambaga. Brother Sampson Adom Larh is the name given to the Caregiver by Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the Voice of God).
