A new chapter of triumphant achievement in the world of sports opened, when the players and executive members of Okwahu United Football Club captured the moment at the auditorium of Believers Worship Centre in Kumasi, Kenyasi Adwumam, Teacher Nkwanta to celebrate their historic victory and flaunt their winning trophy and gold medals on Wednesday, 25th September, 2019.

On Friday, 12th of July 2019, marked the first visit of management and team players of Okwahu United Football Club to worship with Believers Worship Centre during the nationwide crusade by Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) at Nkawkaw Sports Stadium, which was the home grounds for the Football Club. The program which took place at the stadium that day, caught the attention of the Club and it eventually drew the team to the gathering. The team consisted of Mr. Yaw Mireku (Okwahu United Chairman), Mr. Adu Botwe (Okwahu United Head Coach), Mr. Mohammed Gargo (Ghanaian former professional footballer), Mr. Richard (Team Manager), Mr. Prince (Team Captain) and other ardent players.

A comprehensive narrative from Mr. Adu Botwe (Okwahu United Head Coach) revealed that the past 33 years has been a challenging experience in the records of Okwahu United Football Club. History also has it that, the club’s participation in their previous competitions since 1986 has suffered consistent defeat which is awfully nothing to write home about. Unequivocally, their visitation to the crusade grounds was never a mistake. “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “John 14:13(NKJV). Scripture fulfilled on the 12th of July, 2019 when Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (the Voice of God) out of the spirit of the Lord within him, prayed for the management and players of Okwahu United Football Club during the service. He enjoined them to bring back their deserved victory in their upcoming tournament happening between seventy four (74) great teams, fiercely competing for the Eastern Cup. Standing the test of time against all odds, members of the Okwahu United Football Club surrendered everything in the hands of faith to make the final decision after receiving the prayers from Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God).

“We scored our first two(2) goals in twenty minutes within the first half of play, after applying the Prayer Materials from Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) before the match commenced. Everyone, including our competitors were stupefied and fearfully anticipated us as winners already.” Head Coach for Okwahu United, Mr. Adu Botwe indicated.

“We won all our nine(9) matches. Leaving an unprecedented record of twenty(20) goals in our four(4) friendly matches, and 21 goals in our official tournament with the help of Adom Nyame (The Gracious God) and the Prayer Materials from Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God). We have now come to believe that Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) is truly sent from God. His proclamations are highly powered by the heavens.” Mr. Richard (Team Manager) added.

In a more beautiful and most grateful manner, the Okwahu United Football Club members came back to the auditorium of Believers Worship Centre in Kumasi, Kenyasi Adwumam Teacher Nkwanta on 25th September, 2019 during the Wednesday Healing and Deliverance service with Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) to proclaim their mind-blowing testimony to the world. To everyone’s amazement, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) shared in the joy of the Eastern Regional Champion, Okwahu United Football Club by donating GHS 50,000 to mark the celebration of their historic victory. They were thrilled, and saw Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah (The Voice of God) as an embodiment of love, support, encouragement, and community empowerment. They left lasting impressions with their presence through tactical display of their football, and reverberating chants of their slogan; “Asaase aban: Yente gyae!”
